Description

This flax seed oil offers a complete source of essential amino acids with a vegetarian source of omega‑3 fatty acids.

Our flax is extracted by expeller pressing at temperatures less than 38 °C without the use of solvents, such as hexane. The oil is protected during the extraction process from the damaging effects of heat, light, and oxygen.

Flaxseed oil contains 20% flax particulates, with 11 mg of lignans per tablespoon, the highest source of omega‑3 available. Current research indicates that lignans have important nutritive and preventive properties.

Nutritionists, researchers, and even scientists believe that it could be the most important health-promoting supplement next to a multivitamin. Nearly every system in the body can benefit from flaxseed oil. Omega‑6 and omega‑3 fatty acids are known to play important roles in the formation of prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are cellular regulators, which control the inflammatory process in the body.

Flaxseed oil is best used on salads, other foods, or taken by itself. Flaxseed oil is not suitable for cooking, because it oxidizes when heated.

Directions of Use

Adults: As a dietary supplement, take 2 softgels two to four times daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.

Warnings

Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, corn, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.

Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinners.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat and sunlight. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.

Shipping policy

All orders are processed and prepared within 1 to 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. The processing time depends largely on the relevant company's circumstances, such as there being any items that are being back-ordered.

You will receive another notification when your order has been shipped out. Once the item is with the postal service, it takes anywhere between 1 to 5 business days for the parcel to arrive. Local delivery

Local delivery is available for orders over $50 at a delivery price of $3.99. The option will be displayed for recipients within the eligible area of coverage (5km radius).

We will contact you via email with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 864 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto ON, M4G 2L1. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 6 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are 10:30 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday), and 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm on weekends (Saturday to Sunday). Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
